Liberty Mutual Insurance’s Commercial Insurance business unit today announced that Patrick Tully is appointed vice president and managing director of distribution in the Northeast Division of its National Insurance operation.
Based in the company’s Manhattan office, Mr. Tully will lead the business development efforts in the Northeast territory, heading a team of professionals that partners with agents and brokers to meet the primary and excess casualty insurance needs of companies with 1,000 or more employees and the property needs of large risks.
“Patrick has the leadership and broad experience – having worked at brokerage and insurance companies – to further strengthen the Northeast Division’s already close relationships with agents and brokers,” said Marc Orloff, who leads Liberty Mutual’s National Account Casualty operations in the Northeast. “Those relationships are driven by our ability to partner with agents and brokers to bring solutions to their customers that better manage their total cost of risk.”
Mr. Tully has more than 20 years of experience in serving the insurance needs of large and mid-sized companies. Most recently, he was business development manager at Chubb’s Global Risk Management and Real Estate unit. Before that, he spent 18 years in various roles at Marsh & McLennan Companies, including in the broker’s securities operation and as New York Casualty Division manager.
