October 20, 2015 - Liberty Mutual Insurance has been awarded the Applied Systems Pinnacle Award for its significant contributions to advancing automation adoption by its independent agency partners.
As the only carrier awarded the Pinnacle this year, Liberty Mutual has worked closely with Applied Systems to drive agent adoption of download and now has approximately 15,000 agencies using download capabilities each month. ACORD eDOCs and Commercial Lines Download enable Liberty Mutual to simplify document delivery and reduce printed material requests, saving time, resources, and operating costs.
The company has seen a 146 percent increase in eDOCs transactions and a 50 percent increase in Commercial Lines Download transactions over the last year. With 15 million download transactions annually, Liberty Mutual was an early carrier adopter of the eDOCs function and has shared best practices as more and more carriers move forward with eDOCs roll-outs.
“Technology continues to drive efficiencies and growth for insurance businesses worldwide, and our annual Pinnacle Award celebrates companies that harness the power of innovative software to deliver successful business results and take our industry further ahead into the digital future,” said Reid French, chief executive officer, Applied Systems. "We are proud to partner with Liberty Mutual on driving increased connectivity and data exchange with their agency partners and applaud their efforts in driving the industry standard for carrier connectivity.”
Liberty Mutual offers a wide variety of commercial lines download and real-time capabilities for all supported commercial lines of business, as well as direct bill commissions, claims, billing, and policy transactions.
