Appoints Industry Veteran Tory Agnich to Build and Lead Team Delivering Total Solutions Based on Deep Understanding of the Risks Facing Life Sciences Companies

BOSTON (June 3, 2024) – To better meet the specific needs of mid-sized life sciences companies, Liberty Mutual has launched an organization dedicated to that industry, and appointed Tory Agnich, Chief Underwriting Officer, Middle Market Life Sciences.

“Liberty Mutual’s Middle Market operation is committed to providing comprehensive insurance solutions to mid-size companies through teams that understand the needs of specific vertical industries, like life sciences,” said Liberty Mutual North America Middle Market President Marc Orloff. “Tory’s 24 years of experience leading life sciences underwriting made her the ideal candidate to build and lead a high-performing team creating innovative multi-line products and services tailored to that industry.”

Agnich comes to Liberty Mutual from Chubb, where she was Senior Vice President, Life Sciences. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Williams College, with a major in biology, a minor in neuroscience and concentration in genetics.
